Nussbaum wins the award spanning transportation modes worldwide in the first year Caterpillar recognizes transportation service providers in the Supplier Excellence program.

HUDSON, IL – Nussbaum Transportation Services, Inc. has been named the 2023 Transportation Supplier of the Year by Caterpillar, Inc. (NYSE: CAT). Caterpillar procurement leadership presented the award at their Supplier Excellence Recognition event in Grapevine, Texas, on September 26, 2023.
This award recognizes Nussbaum as the top-performing transportation supplier in Caterpillar’s global network, spanning air, ocean, Roll On/Roll Off, and North America Ground (less-than-truckload, full truckload, and open equipment). 2023 is the first year Caterpillar has recognized transportation suppliers as part of the Supplier Excellence Recognition event. Nussbaum was honored for delivering exceptional truckload services and outstanding performance in tender acceptance, on-time delivery, and consistent service over decades of partnership.
During the award ceremony, Pam Heminger, Senior Vice-President for the Strategic Procurement and Planning Division said, “Simply put, Caterpillar suppliers are the front-end of our value chain to ensure we deliver innovative products and services that make our customers more successful. By working together, we can deliver on our purpose to help our customers build a better, more sustainable world.”
