Nussbaum Technology is a new venture that will build commercial software for the trucking industry. The company is owned by In Motion Group, an ESOP company that also owns our legacy trucking business, Nussbaum Transportation Services.
We are looking for a senior UX-UI Designer who wants to be a foundational member of this new effort, creating commercial software for the trucking industry. You will work closely with a small, focused Nussbaum Technology team – driven to launch a best-in-class software product that will make a major impact in the trucking industry. Our aim is to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for a web-based software product.
Schedule
- Full time: Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm.
- Location: Corporate Offices – 19336 N 1425 East Rd., Hudson IL.

Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas; clearly present and articulate design decisions.
- Stay up to date with industry developments and incorporate leading UX practices into our commercial software offerings.
Desired Skills/Experience
- Degree or certification in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
- Front end web development using CSS/HTML
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
- Knowledgeable in Usability Heuristics and UX Design Principles
- Ability to create and maintain design systems and pattern libraries
