The Development Specialist plays a key role in our Human Resources department, supporting development and training initiatives across Nussbaum’s programs. This position helps oversee the day-to-day administration of the CertifiedRed program, provides support in the Nussbaum CDL Academy and Nussbaum’s Finishing Program, and many other programs that Nussbaum supports. You’ll work closely with departments across the company to make sure new and current employees have a great experience from day one. The ideal candidate is organized, values relationship building, and desires to help people grow and succeed personally and professionally here at Nussbaum. Core job duties are:
- CertifiedRed Program Management
- CDL School (NTA@HCC) Administration and Support
- Driver Finishing Program Support
- HR Support
- Concierge Back-up
- Driver Procedural Support
- Conducts and facilitates crucial conversations with individuals to support accountability, development, and alignment with organizational values.
Schedule
- Full time: Monday-Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm.
- Location: Corporate Offices – 19336 N 1425 East Rd., Hudson IL.

Experience & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A basic knowledge of trucks and trailers and their basic mechanical function

- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and composure in sensitive situations
