Nussbaum is looking for a strong customer service-oriented person to maintain our fleet of trailers in our local shop. We are looking for someone who will thrive in a fast-paced, positive work environment and possess strong communication skills as well as an understanding of driver needs.
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Nussbaum shop and warranty standards.
- Maintain fleet through Preventative Maintenance
- Heavy electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Brake and Wheel-end repairs
- Suspension diagnosing and repair work
- Light to heavy body repair
- Installation and servicing of third-party add-ons
- Accurately log and track your work within maintenance software.
- Document/write diagnostic steps and corrective actions implemented
- Willingness to continually learn as equipment technologies change.
Schedule
- Full-time Positions
- Current Shifts
- Sunday through Wednesday 2-12:30am
- Tuesday through Friday 2-12:30am
- Shift availability based on company needs at the time of hire
- Differential in place for 2nd shift

Job Requirements

Experience & Qualifications (Preferred but not required)
- Brake and DOT Certifications
- 1 – 2 years of mechanical experience or completion of a tech program
- Welding certificate or 6-months of experience
- Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License
- Basic toolkit and toolbox
