The Digital Content Specialist brings Nussbaum’s story to life through impactful, multi-format digital content. They are responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content campaigns that drive engagement and business growth across social media, email, and web. They must possess strong writing and creative skills as they translate our service offerings and driving careers into a meaningful value proposition. Job responsibilities include:

  • B2B Sales Enablement: create impactful content to drive awareness, consideration, and lead conversion for our service offerings.
    • Collaborate with sales, operations, and marketing to understand our service offerings à clearly articulate our value and market differentiation.
    • Plan, build, and manage content campaigns using social media management tools, email marketing software, web publishing tools, etc.
    • Write and design digital content, including social media posts (primarily LinkedIn), infographics, email campaigns, video scripts, sales brochures, customer testimonials, website copy, blog posts, etc. Collaborate with our Graphic Designer and Videographer on advanced projects.
    • Analyze content performance and recommend optimizations. Explore new ways to reach our target audience.
  • Social Media Marketing: manage Nussbaum’s social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and Tiktok.
    • Plan, create, and publish posts across all channels.
    • Develop a social media strategy that aligns with marketing objectives.
    • Manage paid social campaigns.
    • Respond to comments and inquiries across all channels.
    • Monitor analytics and recommend optimizations.
  • Recruitment Marketing: coordinate advertising campaigns to support driver recruitment.
    • Place monthly media and communicate changes to our ad agencies.
    • Update landing pages and write/edit job descriptions.
    • Review campaign performance and collaborate with ad agency to make improvements.
  • Other:
    • Writing/editing content for company publications
    • Collaborating on various marketing team projects

Job Schedule

  • Full-time position; Monday-Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm.
  • Location: Corporate Offices – 19336 N. 1425 East Rd., Hudson, IL 61748.

Required Skills

  • Strong writing & editing skills
    • Versatility – writes effectively across formats (captions, scripts, long-form, email, web, etc.). Adapts tone, style, and messaging to fit the context and audience needs.
    • Storytelling – able to comprehend complex topics and translate them into clear, impactful stories that communicate value.
  • Strong creative skills – able to develop and evaluate new ideas
  • Graphic design – concepting, layout, on-brand design. You will work with our Graphic Designer on advanced projects, but should expect to handle low-mid level projects yourself.
  • Content strategy – able to plan long-term content roadmaps and connect business priorities with storytelling opportunities.
  • Strong collaboration skills – this position frequently engages others to gather information needed to create content. Must be able to work well with others, ask good questions, and be a good listener.
  • Working knowledge of or willingness to learn tools such as Social Pilot, Mailchimp, WordPress, and social platforms’ native tools
  • Social media – familiar with various platforms, understands differences between platforms, can adapt content to fit different audiences/contexts.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing communications, content creation, or social media (B2B experience is a plus)
  • Demonstrated writing abilities across a variety of formats, audiences, contexts, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience creating content for social media or other digital channels
