We are seeking a results-driven Sales leader for Nussbaum’s Dedicated Services. In this position you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and profitability of our Dedicated solutions. Our ideal candidate will continue developing our Dedicated business by understanding the market needs & Nussbaum’s best in class capabilities and value proposition.
- New Business Development: Identify new customers within Dedicated transportation. Engage in generating leads, focused networking, and industry events to build a solid pipeline.
- Relationship Management: Establish, grow, and maintain long-term relationships. This would include visiting customers & understanding the needs of Dedicated services.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to effectively position and sell our Dedicated services.
- Proposal and Contract Management: Work closely with the operations and pricing teams to prepare accurate proposals and negotiate contracts that meet both client and company objectives.
- Collaboration with Operations: Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of service and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting: Use tools like Salesforce and Homegrown software & provide regular updates to management regarding sales progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Schedule
- Full time: Monday-Friday, 7am – 4:30pm
- Location: Corporate Offices – 19336 N 1425 East Rd., Hudson IL.
- Hybrid remote options available

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or finance.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in transportation & logistics with a strong understanding of Dedicated services.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify business opportunities and market trends.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
- Understanding of P&Ls and how to impact profits
- Willingness to travel
