Job Description

The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing our existing customer accounts and building new business relationships that align with leadership growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with knowledge of the sales process. This candidate must be a self-starter, able to analyze and understand freight data to guide business development efforts. This candidate will have exceptional people skills and can operate within a team-oriented environment.

 Core Responsibilities

  • Business Development – use existing tools to develop new opportunities
  • Inside Sales – working existing accounts
  • Bid management through workflow
  • Visiting customers and leads
  • Negotiating rates and lanes
  • Work with cross department managers

Job Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Monday-Friday; 7am-4:30pm
  • Location: Corporate Offices – 19336 N. 1425 East Rd., Hudson, IL 61748

Qualifications
